Artistic Accomplishments: Kathy Collins
Tsuga Fine Art invites you their Northwest Parallels exhibition, featuring stunning new work by local watercolor artist Kathy Collins, and highlighting her trademark impressionistic style alongside her dynamic new collage work. Artist Kathy Collins is recognized as a signature member of the American, Northwest and Montana Watercolor Societies, and the Women Painters of Washington. Her work has been featured in numerous artistic publications and juried local and national exhibitions over the years, where it has garnered many prestigious awards. Kathy's recent watercolor and watercolor collage work has received national recognition, with acceptances into juried exhibitions across the country and a feature in the December 2016 issue of Watercolor Artist Magazine.
We are proud to present her successes to our customers:

Kathy Collins gained acceptance into an American Watercolor Society exhibition in New York City. She is now also eligible for Signature status within that organization.

Her mixed-media collage, "Flickering Images" garnered the Savoir Faire award at the California Watercolor Association Show (through February 27th in Pleasanton, California). Her work also appears in the following current national juried exhibits: Arizona Aqueous Show in Tubac, Arizona; The Brooklyn Gallery Figurative exhibit in New York; and the Women Painter's Coast to Coast show at Prince Gallery in New York City. Locally, one of her collages was juried into the EAFA Abstract Show at the new EAFA Gallery in Kirkland. Kathy's impressionistic watercolor, Revelation, was juried into the American Watercolor Society's International Exhibition to be held April 3rd-22nd, 2017, at the Salmagundi Club in New York City. This being her third acceptance into the AWS show, she is now a Signature Member of the American Watercolor Society.
