Bryan Ubaghs is a third-generation Seattle native who has been drawing and painting for most of his life. With a host of immediate and extended family having enjoyed careers at both Boeing and NASA, his passion for depicting the history of aviation and its courageous pioneers came naturally.
Working in acrylics on canvas, his work pops with bold, bright colors and rugged outlines. “My work is a modern approach to Post-Impressionism with a healthy dose of whimsy”, he says of his unique take on the celebration of flight.
Aside from his original creations, Ubaghs is happy to accept aviation-related, private commissions, rendered in his individual style.
