Anne Waters Biography
Anne Waters creates compelling and unique art works for corporate and private collections.
She marries color elegantly. Her subjects come alive, jumping off the canvas, projecting and defining a mood for each painting. Anne applies texture to entice viewers to explore the depths and dimensions in her work.
Anne, an award-winning artist, has exhibited works professionally for more than 15 years. Her dexterity and versatility with acrylics and inks add to her distinction as a favored artist. Anne’s subjects range from florals to animals to land and sea scapes - all depending on her recent travels, the season, and her latest whim. She invites you to explore the beauty, intrigue and excitement in her painting.
Anne began her art career in watercolor, following in her aunt’s footsteps. While living in the Bay Area, she participated in outdoor shows and taught watercolor for many years. When she moved to the Maltby area, Anne decided to stay in water media and has been enjoying acrylic and acrylic inks on canvas ever since.
When not painting, Anne enjoys gardening and taking long walks in the neighborhood with her husband, Bill, and their newly adopted dog, Molly.
